The purpose of PTFE is to reduce resistance and guide the filament. The inner diameter of the tube is 2.5mm, and the outer diameter is 4mm. Please keep in mind that the PTFE tubes are consumables and are subject to wear as they rub against the filament over time. We recommend that you inspect the PTFE tubes for wear during machine maintenance.
*If the tubes become worn and are not replaced in a timely manner, this might result in feeding failures, filament collection inside the AMS, and other problems.
