The PTFE Tube Connector links the PTFE tube mounted at the back of the printer, creating the connection between the buffer and the toolhead. Necessary part to connect with an AMS.
Instructions for Use:
- The connector has a defined installation direction, shown in the diagram below. Attach the PTFE tube from the buffer’s output to the inside, and connect the PTFE tube leading to the toolhead to the outside. Reversing these connections can cause material jams, so it’s important to ensure the orientation is correct.
- When the AMS is not in use, remove the feed tube connector from the out end, disconnect it from the toolhead’s PTFE tube, and feed the filament directly into the toolhead’s PTFE tube.
