Bambu Lab PLA Aero Filament foams at high temperatures during printing, causing tiny holes to appear inside the prints, which results in low density and light weight. It’s the ideal option for prints that need to be lightweight and energy-efficient, such as gliders, aerodynamic models, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Lightweight and Low Density
Bambu Lab PLA Aero Filament prints between 50% and 80% denser than ordinary PLA, although having almost the same density. It weighs approximately half of PLA Basic when printing models with the same volume.

Regulated Model Density
Reduce the flow rate and raise the printing temperature to produce prints with a reduced density. Changes in parameters like the actual printing temperature, the flow rate ratio, the printing speed, the model size, the wall thickness, and the infill density will all affect the average density of prints.

Matte Finish for Simple Colouring
Compared to PLA Basic, Bambu Lab PLA Aero Filament offers a matte surface texture that is easier to colour and yields better dyeing results.
RFID for Intelligent Printing
The AMS (Automatic Material System) can read the RFID that contains all printing parameters.
Print after loading with no more laborious setting procedures.
