Formlabs Fuse X1 3D Printer Package

SKU: FSX1-PC-01 Categories: , , Tags: , , , Brand:

The Fuse X1 SLS 3D Printer & Build Unit makes industrial selective laser sintering accessible, combining a large build volume, over 30% packing density, and up to 3× the throughput of competing systems to deliver high-quality parts in days.

Build Big

Manufacture full‑scale, production‑grade components within an exceptionally large build volume, or carry out production runs with packing densities exceeding 30% to produce thousands of end‑use parts in a matter of days rather than weeks.

With build volume: 330 × 330 × 565 mm.

Low Part Cost

The Formlabs Fuse X1 reduces part costs by up to 50% compared with traditional powder bed fusion systems, while occupying less than half the floor space. It also offers cost competitiveness with injection moulding for production runs of tens of thousands of parts.

Productive

With packing densities exceeding 30% and a 61.5L build volume, the Fuse X1 accommodates more parts in a single build than rival industrial SLS and MJF systems, resulting in thousands of additional parts produced each week. Up to three times the throughput of industrial competitors.

Intuitive and Reliable

Formlabs Fuse X1 passes easily through a standard doorway, requires no facility modifications, and can be installed and operational from day one. A user-friendly touchscreen provides step-by-step guidance, while the build unit allows for changeovers in just five minutes.

Large Format SLS Workflow

1 – Prepare Automatically pack, optimise, and organise your builds in PreForm. Orient, hollow, or label models, estimate print times, and enable automatic part packing for improved density, helping to reduce print times and minimise waste. Import STL, OBJ, 3MF files, or bring in models directly from a wide range of CAD applications.

2 – SLS Print Produce large parts in hours rather than days: most high-volume builds are completed within 24 hours, with some large parts ready the same day in as little as five hours. Print Intelligence monitors the process in real time, detecting and compensating for anomalies to help safeguard build success.

3 – Swap Achieve print changeovers in as little as five minutes with the Fuse X1 Build Unit: simply roll one unit out and bring the next in, using blind-mate power and data connections. Built-in insulation enables natural cooling within the unit, allowing the printer to begin the next job without delay.

4 – Unpack Effortless powder recovery with the Fuse Sift X1: an integrated compressed air system, enclosed glovebox, and dedicated parts hatch ensure clean and efficient breakout. It can handle powder from 3 to 5 full builds, with automated transfer of material to the Mix Kit.

5 – Finish Clean and finish parts with Fuse Blast: the new 400 mm Large Tumbler Basket accommodates 2–3 times the Fuse build volume and increases the number of parts per cycle by 50%. An optional Polishing System upgrade provides smooth, semi-gloss surfaces that are ready for dyeing.

Fuse x1 Build Unit

The Formlabs Fuse X1 build unit houses and transports prints throughout the Fuse X1 system. With its wheeled, mobile design, it moves easily between the Fuse X1 during printing and the Fuse Sift X1 for breakout, featuring blind-mate power and data connections for smooth, ergonomic changeovers. Its insulated chamber enables passive cooling outside the printer, allowing the next print to begin with minimal downtime.
